It was a busy month for all of us in March, so busy that the Women’s Guild meeting was shortened to the business part only. We had a good coffee hour with our Turkish friends before that, and as we did not want to spend the whole afternoon at church, we skipped the Bible study part. We will definitely work on that during our next meeting on Apr 20th. The Prayer Shawl meeting was also combined with another meeting to make the best use of people’s time.
April has its own activities. We will have our Prayer Shawl meeting on Wednesday, Apr 16th, and our regular meeting on Sunday, Apr 20th.
In between is the Crossroads Women’s Retreat on Apr 18th and 19th on Long Beach Island. Go to the Regional Synod website (www.rsmat.org) for a sign up form. The deadline is Apr 1st, but they accept late registrations until Apr 7th with a surcharge.
And then there is the Silent Auction on Saturday, Apr 26th, at the First Reformed Church Square Dance. Please consider donating an item or service for this. Let Erie know what you plan on donating so she can plan ahead.
In January we decided to revive our Tea Party on Sunday, Jun 22nd. Please keep that date in your calendar. We are working towards a nice and rewarding program for this event!
