Update on Our Fund-raising Efforts

Our fund-raising efforts for the preservation project develop steadily and with great success. As of March 31st, we had raised $298,253.00. For a church of our size, this is an extraordinary amount. It is comprised of donations from members and friends, fund-raisers, sister churches within our denomination, grants of various organizations, and members of the Circle of Ten.

It is now time to become serious regarding the last part of our campaign, fund-raising within the community that surrounds us. For this purpose, the Fund-raising Committee has appointed a Core Committee, really a little task force consisting of a mixture of members of our church and business persons from the community. A first meeting was held on Monday, April 26th. We are very excited about the energy and prospect of this group.
