Work With Meaning

One of the great blessings of our church is the Work Days. Really, I mean it! Of course, there are sweat and toil and labor. But there are also fellowship, laughter, and sometimes engaged discussion. Finally, look at the outcome: it was a Work Day that added considerably to our church’s assets —this time to the Randolph Room Entryway. On Jun 25th, Paul and Caryn Aran tiled its entrance and even put in a little mosaic. Earlier, Scott Lyon had rewired the room, installed a nice chandelier and an outside flood light with timer and motion detector. Now anybody can attend functions in the Randolph Room, even if the glass door entrance is locked, or when access through Fellowship Hall is not opportune. Continue reading
