Another Volunteer Day with Rutgers Students

It is just so contagious when young people take the initiative and come and volunteer at an old church like ours! And so it happened again on Saturday, October 23, under the leadership of Christine José when she brought 15 students to the church. They planted containers, weeded and pruned the front of the church, and built a curb to the sanctuary’s back patio where rainstorms had caused miniature mud slides in the past. Continue reading

Music Notes

Join Rutgers Protestant Campus Ministries’ Trinity House Bach Society on Sunday, Nov 14th at 7:00 p.m. in our sanctuary when we will present Johann Sebastian Bach’s celebrated cantata, Schmücke dich, o liebe Seele (“Deck Thyself, my Soul, with Gladness”) BWV 180 to the community of New Brunswick. We continue the tradition of sharing classical music with the community that is related to our faith at Trinity House for the third year. In the past, The Trinity House Bach Society has presented works by Palestrina, Schubert, and of course, Bach. The concert series is funded and provided by RPCM to share the joy of sacred classical music with the Greater New Brunswick area. Continue reading
