Spring is here! You can feel it in the air, and see it as the crocus peek out of the ground, and the daffodils show their beautiful yellow blooms. You can also see it in our classrooms. We’ve been planting seeds and painting bright suns. We’ve also been enjoying the warm weather and even picnicking outdoors with our lunch bunchers.
Back in March, children and parents alike were treated to the wonderful lunchtime recital featuring the harpist. We had many families interested in staying for the show and are now looking forward to the April performances. These recitals are such a wonderful way to expose the children to all different types of music. We are so grateful to be able to bring the children to the shows.
Looking ahead, April brings back our fourth annual Pine Chef cooking competition fundraiser. On April 21, we will all be gathering in Fellowship Hall to sample the tasty creations of all our competitors. You can enter a dish or come hungry and vote for your favorite dishes. There are prizes for the winners and raffle prizes too. Everyone is welcome to attend.
To enter the competition or get more information, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org or call 732-463-8555. The secret ingredient you must use in your dish will be revealed by email by April 18.
