On Wednesday, May 14, the trustees of the Hall Education Fund met to interview students for scholarship awards as they do every year in May. We were impressed with the students and inspired by their stories. Although many students are intending to enter the health care field, one student is interested in pursuing a career in animation and another aspires to owning her own funeral home.
Fourteen graduating seniors were awarded scholarships ranging from $1,000.00 to $3,000.00 for a total of $25,000.00. They attend New Brunswick High School, New Brunswick Health, Science and Technology High School and the Piscataway Vocational and Technical School.
Many thanks to all of you who support this mission. Plan to attend our Hall Fest in October so you can meet some of these fine students and see that your donations are being used wisely.
