Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstance, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. (1 Thessalonians 5: 16 – 18)
Prayer
Most Loving Parent, you gather us into the communion of your Church: give us life by your love. You never take back your call and your gifts. Your faithfulness enables us to remain always faithful to you, through all our trials, our poverty, our insecurities and doubt. Stimulate a desire for peace and justice, O God, so that we would follow your road, which leads us towards all who suffer in our society and world; so that we may express to them through your Holy Spirit the gift of love, which you have placed in our hearts. Amen.
