Coexistence Festival Opening

Dutch Dancers of Van Wickle House & FRC had the honor of performing for the Festival’s opening ceremony which took place on Saturday, April 28, 2007 at the Jane Voorhees Zimmerli Art Museum on Rutgers main campus.

Described as a powerful “coming together” of art, music, education, and multi-cultural programs, the CoExistence Festival took over the streets of downtown New Brunswick under blue and sunny skies.

The ceremony featured comments from Rutgers president Richard McCormick, New Brunswick Mayor Jim Cahill, Secretary of State Nina Mitchell Wells, along with other invited dignitaries, musical performances and refreshments.
