Town Clock CDC – Awards and Progress!

The Dina’s Dwellings project has become a real award winner! You all at FRC ought to be thrilled with the recognition that you are receiving for allowing the project to go forward. So many people have expressed their appreciation and gratefulness about FRC’s willingness to build ten apartments within the sanctuary walls.
This Christmas season, as you shop for gifts, please remember the families who will be moving into Dina’s Dwellings shortly after Christmas. In our Amazon Wish List, we have identified household items for our Hope Chest from $2 curtain rings to $75 microwaves that you can purchase directly. Each of these items will help our residents to start their lives anew. No matter how small, your donation will make a difference.

Church Reconfiguration Live

On one recent Saturday, October 24, I had the pleasure of bringing 15 RUTGERS students there. They belonged to the crowd that so often has volunteered here at the church. This time, however, the University had organized a day not for volunteering but for listening to the voices of the community. So I gave a little presentation followed by Question & Answers. Some of the team attended our Groundbreaking Ceremony, and there is certainly an affinity to connect, especially for the survivors who will eventually be residing within the walls of Dina’s Dwellings.
