Pageant Rehearsal and Party Time!

the pageant participants were working hard in the sanctuary, a crew of ladies gathered in the kitchen and Fellowship Hall to set up for pizza party. In the sanctuary you could hear the voices of Bruce Bothwell, Susan and Allison Kramer-Mills, Aliece, Emily, Evan and Adam Sena, Heather Esptein, and Daphne and Theo Beemsterboer. The ladies crew consisted of Elza Bothwell, Ethel Salamone, Joan Fekete and Erie Beemsterboer. Musical Notes

The children of First Reformed Church are singing again after a long summer break! They will convene in the Randolph Room every Sunday
directly after their Sunday School Class until 12:00, to sing old and new Christian music. It is never too early to praise the Lord through singing,

There Is More in the Cemetery Than You Might Think!

September 13th marked an important day in the life of our church. That evening, we hosted the final presentation of a field school of Rutgers University. This field school had turned our need for a comprehensive Preservation Plan for our cemetery into a teaching opportunity at no cost to the church. We could not have been more grateful to the leadership of this Rutgers program, especially to its director, Prof. Archer St. Clair Harvey, and the field school instructor, Christine Miller Cruiess. The weather on Sunday provided us 100 + worshippers at the Van Wickle House in Somerset an delightful backdrop to celebrate the Lord’s Day!
